I've been shooting the 210 VLD for awhile now and have finally given in to the 215 Hybrid craze. My Broughton 5c is an 11" twist so I hope that doesn't present a problem.
Can someone provide me with data that is working for them?
I've got plenty of H1000, Retumbo & IMR 7828 on hand. Also some RE22 & RE25.

Been using the 215 in 3 different ultra mags.
Two of them were Remjngton senderos. Both of those seemed to like the bullets seated 30 thou off the lands. One was 91 grains of h1000. Gun was not super fast but shot under sub moa. Other sendero bullet 30 thou off the lands and used 94 grains of retumbo. It shot sub moa and was way faster 3140 fps.
The other one that I have now is a HS Precision, in that one I have the bullets seated 30 thou off as well. And I am using 92.5 grains of retumbo. It is shooting them at 3050 fps. I tried more powder, the velocity would increase but the accuracy decreased so I didn't try anymore.

VH, I loaded up some 215's about an hour ago. I use a working load of 88 grains of Retumbo, and it's probably a little light, but it shoots straight. I load them about .040 off the lands, and I've read that they don't mind a jump. I'm using Fed 215 M, and Nosler Brass. I had some pretty high ES with H1000, so Retumbo it is for me. Right around 3000 FPS. Start where you're comfortable and work it up.

What is "ES"? Sorry, I'm new to this stuff. I'm also trying my hand at reloading for my 300 rum. Takin it slow, cause I'm green. Soakin up all the knowledge I can. Lol

ES is extreme spread, the difference between highest and lowest value. SD is standard deviation, a measure of how the data clumps. You want both small for long range.

Varmint Hunter,
Your 1-11" twist may not be enough. 1-10" is the MINIMUM twist rate we suggest for this bullet. But velocity may get you over the line.
Loads are :
RL22- 73.0-81.3 89%FILL RATIO
RL25 75.5-84.0 94%FILL RATIO
7828SSC 73.0-81.3 88% FILL RATIO
RETUMBO 81.0-90.2 100% FILL RATIO (compressed load)
H1000 78.0 - 86.5 97% FILL RATIO.
Hybrids are very tolerant of jump so we suggest you start at .015 off the lands and work back in .015 increments at the lowest powder charge listed for the bullet/powder/cartridge combination you are testing. Be advised that this is a long bullet and probably will not be able to be seated to magazine length. An aftermarket longer magazine box installed MAY help with this depending on where your sweet spot is as far as seating depth is concerned. Work your load up in 1/2 grain increments till you get 2 grains BELOW MAXIMUM then drop to 1/10th grain increments. Check for pressure signs and accuracy all the way up. Hope this helps!
Take care,

Varmint Hunter,
RL22 = 71.0 - 79.0 2516- 2751 (APPROX FPS) 87% fill ratio
RL25 = 73.5- 81.8 2519-2749 (APPROX FPS) 92% fill ratio
7828SSC = 70.0 - 79.2 2489 -2773 N(APPROX FPS) 91% fill ratio
RETUMBO = 79.5 - 88.2 2513 - 279 (APPROX FPS) 98% fill ratio
H1000 = 76.5 - 84.8 2515- 2766 (APPROX FPS) 91% fill ratio
For 230 grain OTM IN 300 RUM
You may want to pick up a Berger Reloading manual from us or your favorite supplier. Lots of good information in it.
Take care,
