Need A New 22!

What is the best 22 rifle off the shelf for small bore silouette class shooting. I would prefer a bolt. Thanks for looking.

find yourself a remington 541T or THB if you like a heavy barrel , i have one of each and they are great for smallbore competition , i have the trophy self to prove it!

100% agree or if you have a limited budget buy a cz all cz rimfire rifles have match chamber and good quality barrels .

Best is anschutz hands down, no questions.

have an anschutz 64 mpr that shoots 249 & 12 x @ 50m..great gun but $ 925 for a .22..have a cz 452 .17hmr that shoots better than i expected. the cz needed a trigger kit ( $17 ) & a little barrel channel work to float the barrel.. good fit & finish..for $390. want a remington 541t..about the only new .22 i'd be intrested in would be a Browning t bolt. have 2 winchester 52d's that still shoot outstanding in br50. in a modern gun it would be anschutz , cz or browning. in the old stuff..rem 40x,,541 t&s..37..winchester ..52"s ..75.. kimber.. 82g..h&r model 12..some of the old mossbergs..anyway good luck in your search
