Rifle: Remington 700SPS in 300WM
Scope: Leupod VXIII or better scope
Break: Your choice.
That will get you in the game. Simple upgrades:
Stock: HS Precision or Bell & Carlson in whatever flavor you like (~$250)
Barrel: Hart Rifle Barrel (Hart Rifle Barrels) you choose the contour (~$600)

I have a low milage bone stock 7RUM SS0syn with a VX3 6.5x20 AO with a varmit hunters reticle in leupold rings. That will get you to 500 yards without dialing anything. I started to build a custom on this action but cant bear to do anything to a factory rifle that shoots this good 7lb trigger and all. It shoots 160 accubonds very well.
Well you can get a weatherby 340 sporter that is relatively inexpensive (1100 or so from impactguns. There are a fair number of scopes you could use such as a sightron or even a nikon or Burris. All will do the trick.
