My wife smoked a great bull in NM!

We were hunting in Northern NM and my wife hammered this with a 50cal muzzle loader. She made a 100 yard shot after we made stalk. I glassed it up from a long way off.

Way cool! Tell her great job..... Then have her call my wife, & keep the fire lit!!! I've about got her talked into aplying for a cow tag for 2012. She's never killed anything but starlings, & sage-rats, but pics of real ladies (not tv personalities/pro's) out layin the smack down on elk keep her excited about giving it a whirl.

If it makes her feel any better, you can tell her that there are a LOT of men who would LOVE to be having their picture taken next to an elk like that----I'm one of em.
