I'm pretty stoked!

Spec's:
7 saum
Bartlein 5R, 1:9" twist. #4 contour cut to 17.5" (before brake)
0.140" freebore
Action trued
External bolt release/stop
Bolt face opened up for mag caliber
Mini M16 extractor
Ross Schuler muzzle brake
Ken Ferrel scope base
Titanium cerakote
Aaron's stock, bedded

That looks great! The color on it is nearly a perfect match for your terrain in that shot.

I've been really interested in trying a 7 SAUM in a SP but I keep getting distracted by other projects!

Andrew, you should hurry and build an XP... Well worth it.

I currently have 4 SPs built on Savages, 2 Strikers (284 Win and 338/375 Ruger), 6mm BR built on a RBLP target action, and a 260 Rem built on a left hand action.

My 284 has been very good to me out to about 1300 yards so I just don't have the heart to mess with it. I have considered rechambering the 260 Rem to 6.5 SAUM though. The 260 just never really did it for me so that barrel may get sacrificed for a SAUM project!

It's interesting that you should say I need to get an XP-100 though since I just picked one up yesterday. I was just about to start a separate thread for that one!
