mounting questions

[BC 300 why]

Need suggestions from the experts...
So I recently purchased a NF 5-20x56mm to put on my 300 wby mag. My question is should I go with extended scope mounts, scope mounts and base, or unimount? Steel or ultra lite (titanium/allot)? I will be purchasing everything through NF. Anyone know how high I need to get for scope to mount correctly? Any suggestions or tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch guys. I'm new to long range shooting and can't wait to get it all mounted up and sending rounds down range.

Without going into an extensive discussion, I would suggest going to YouTube since there are many good vids on how to setup a scope. As far as steel versus alloy and which mounts, that is all up to you. I like picatiny rail and rings or solid one piece mounts such as DNZ.

I am no expert, but why I suggested works for me.
