MOA rail needed anymore?

Have run a Picatinny rail for years ..a 20. May put on a Leopold Mark 5... short and fat one in mil. On a 7mm shooting berger 168s... i like to practice out to 1200 so my shirt shots are easier when hunting. Think this combo will get out there for my target shooting or will i have to add 20 moa? Like to keep it clean...without rail but dont know if the Mark 5 will do it with a 7mm mv of 2934.

The shortest one is the 18x44. Total elevation is 29 mils, you'll get about half of that once you zero. I reckon that's enough without adding 5 mils using a base, but, it's better to have to more than not enough in my personal opinion. The 5-25 has almost 35 mils, again you'll get about half of that.

Be nice if they made a 35mm base ring combo with that built in like they do for the 30mm tubes. Guessing zerolock robs you too.
