Mid-1980s Weatherby Mark V

I want your thoughts on a Mid 1980s-Japanese Made Weatherby Mark V .300 Weatherby Magnum, it is priced about $1,200 and is in excellent shape. I wanted to know if it is overpriced or if there is anything I should about it before I buy it! Thanks!

I picked up a new old stock Mark V Alaskan in 270 WB last year and I love it. It's fairly lightweight and accurate. I think if the barrel has a lot of life left I'd pay $1200.

I purchased a German made 300 Weatherby 26 " tube Mark V deluxe for $319.00......Butt hat was back in 1969.
Still have it with original manual. Great Rifle Enjoy yours

$1200 is not bad if everything was a good and barrel is sound. You will find a lot people who are good at getting and finding deals who won't ever pay more then 50% value for anything. They are lucky lol. But don't let their luck discount the value of the rifle.
