How many people on here had family that came across on the Mayflower.......

My Mom's side came across on the Mayflower....eastern European.....
Chech's mostly......
Most of them settled into Texas...big cattle ranches that went to oil production.....
I'm kinda curious if I'm related to any one on LRH......
Vokufka(?).....was the family name.....

Not sure the Mayflower, but Jill's family were here since the 1700s and fought in every War including the Revolution War. Jill is Part of the "Daughters of the Revolution"

Mayflower hit Massachusetts in 1620...
Amazing the survivors had the drive to travel from there to what was to become Texas.....some relatives stayed in Tennessee.....had big horse ranches....
I met one of those desendents....
Looked like my Mom's short brother....
met another that looked like my Mom's other bother....almost identical..just bigger.........

We hit the beach in 1640 eventually moving south and settled in Pennsylvania. Our most notable ancestor fought in the civil war, he survived Andersonville. My dad in his retirement did a complete tree on our ancestors and researched all he could on private Adam Brior including all records from enlistment to discharge papers and everything in between. I and my wife hammer into our kids about our deep past here in the US, don't forget, pass it on and be proud of it.

We were stomping grapes and picking up olives until 1904!
Came through Ellis Island, not Texas, NM, Arizona, California.

My Mom did our family geneology....big digging...not a lot of help from my Dad's sisters....but she was able to trace Dad's ancestry to having come across with Cortez into central America..1520s..after conquering the new world they moved up and settled the southern California coast..all the way to S.F.....but didn't like the 'fog'..so they moved back to Monterey.....where my Dad was born...
..but Mom also found records of one of Dad's relatives that was in NE America before that time frame.....quite possibly he was with the Knights Templars when they came into the eastern coastline....possibly involved with the treasures that are thought to be in the ground at Oak Island......

All history is cool....just so much is lost and never to be found again....
