Lowa Boot Care?

So after a bunch of research I bought a new set of the Lowa Tibet GTX Hi boots. My only problem is Lowa doesn't have very definitive boot care regiment. I've read every thing I can find and I'm not coming up with anything solid.
So my question is what do you all that have these boots or kennatrek for that matter use for waterproofing? I've been thinking of a silicon spray and following up with obenauf's heavy duty leather preservative.

I used the two products as suggested by Lowa (as explained below) and am pleased with the results. My Caminos are starting their third season.
