Long Rifles Inc Custom 23" Brux #3 chambered in 260 Tactical, trued Remington 600/660 action, reworked trigger, HS Precision stock just back from HS being touched up and repainted, bedded, blind magazine, EGW rail, round count 266rds. Included are several boxes of once fired HSM brass, 50 pieces of new brass. I have not fired the rifle since taking possession. Brass will be shipped to you directly

I called LRI about the rifle when I received it, for some reason I have 1 in 8 written down in my log book. I don't recall if they told me that or I verified it when I cleaned it.

I will verify it in the morning after I get home from work.

I am unable to hide my ignorance or find consistent info on the 260 tactical. Is it the .260 Rem case slightly oversize?

Yes, you can run factory 260 ammo, in fact that is all it has ever seen

Something else, I understand your confusion, I am just as confused. I have found very little definitive information about the chamber other than what I found here.

This is something I found in a quick search. Not sure how accurate it is.
" The tactical chamber has slightly looser tolerances to allow for running in tough or dirty conditions without hiccup. The usually means slightly more room in the chamber and neck area. It's what I run. No neck turning or hang ups under any conditions."
