I have a problem with my sstl Vanguard 270 Win torqueing ccw when I fire. Shots angle top left to bottom right despite my good cheek weld. I'm LH and the rifle is is RH. Am thinking either some kind of cheek pad or a Boyds LH stock for a Vanguard would solve my problem. Gun holds 3.5" at 425yrd off sandbags and has the potential to shoot a 1" group at 425 with no wind and the proper stock / different shooter. Wondering if any of you have re stocked a Vanguard with a Boyds.

I've used Boyds stocks for other rifles, though not my Vanguards, and had good success. I see that they offer a couple in LH design. Their Platinum in LH made from laminate with a Pachmeyr pad would make for a very nice stock.

Bed the rifle to the stock, and you would have an extremely solid platform.
