I am looking at a newer Leupold VX-3i 6.5-20x40, 30mm tube, and side focus with the low capped turrets that are finger adjustable. I have the VX-3 6.5-20x40 with a 1" tube, target turrets, and AO and I love it but I am thinking about trying one of the new VX-3i on another rifle. My questions are...
1. I have an extra set of target turrets for my VX-3, can I replace the low finger adjustable turrets on the new VX-3i with these?
2. If the target turrets won't work, how do the low turrets feel? Are the clicks crisp like on the target turrets or are they mushy and not very pronounced?
3. Does anyone have any experience with the new Leupold Wind Plex reticle? It looks really useful, but I don't know if it is thin enough for long range work.
