im wanting a compact light weight FFP scope for intermediate range hunting Thoughts on the Mark 6? Seems to check a lot of the boxes.
I run a couple of them now and think it might be the ultimate hunting scope. It's extremely short, very lightweight when compared to other scopes in its class (34mm), has real zero stops and locking turrets so that no chance of zero getting unknowingly moved, great zoom range, ffp reticle (holds work on any power) I've shot stuff on 3x at close distances and it will work for that. I both dial and hold depending the situation. My oldest one is over two years old and I've beat the hell out of it. I had a horse run it into a tree and it held zero. Leupold's warranty is great and I feel good about supporting an American manufacturer. I do have the TMR reticle. Wish it had some heavier lines but it can be used to bracket.Thanks. Do you have the TMR reticle? I typically dial for elevation but I am hoping reticle is thick enough for close up shots at lowest magnification. Sounds like that's working for you?
