Leupold backcountry rings

anyone ever use or see the new backcountry one piece rings/base from Leupold?

A buddy of mine has installed a few sets. Fit and finish seem fine.

I tried a set for a long action savage and although the rings were really nice they didnt fit the receiver for crap. The base hung over into the action rather than fitting flush like talleys, I sent them back unfortunately

just installed a pair on my new tikka t3x 300wsm. seem like they'll work out real nice.
