I called Leupold and the guy told me that at 25X the mildots crosshairs covered 1/2 inch at 100 yards. That seems like a mighty thick crosshair at 25X at 100! If they cover that much how big is a "mil"dot at 25X in this scope? They said the reticle was etched on another "extra" lens compared to the "regular" Long Range Target which has a wire fine duplex that covers 1/10 of at inch at 100 yards at 25X. So is the mildot inner crosshair actually 5 times thicker? Thanks! FnMauser

I have a 8.25x25 mk4 with the tmr reticle. The finelines ( both vertical and horizontal as well as hashmarks) are as follows:

.06 mil for 8 and 9x
.05 mil for 10x
.04 mil for 14x
.03 mil for 16, 20, and 40x
.02 mil for 25x

This straight from the manual, but the mildot reticle may be entirely diff.
