To start I'm just posting this mainly for guys that like seeing them in progress. This was the first round this evening with no wind. I'm going to confirm tomorrow after I resize the brass and run them again. The gun is a 24" Proof 9" twist, H1000, ADG New brass, 215 Bergers. I like to compare the new brass and fired brass incase I get in a bind sometime. Anyways the data was this:

1. 82.0 2988 Didn't reset my turret from shooting 500 yards earlier. But did the math and it would have hit next to Shot 7.
2. 82.3 3027
3. 82.6 2015
4. 82.9 3017
5. 83.2 3067
6. 83.5 3058
7. 83.8 3057
8. 84.1 3067
9. 84.4 3077
10. 84.7 3106

Performed at 300 yards. (I know a lot of guys say you have to shoot further with a ladder, but I've confirmed my findings from 300 yards out to 700 yards even 1000 yards and I've found after shooting the longer distance I had the correct nodes. I like the 300 cause I can spot my hits and transfer their location straight onto an identical target on the bench. )

The 2,3,4 looks great. I think 6,7 and 8 are deceiving. I'll explore them more tomorrow. Shot 10 was getting into pressure. This pic is of shot 10 below. Slight ejector mark, no stiff bolt lift. (man that's a dirty nail lol)

After I'm done with load, I'm switching gears to the 220 LRHT. If I can get it to shoot, I may take my elk this year with it the first week of December to get an idea on terminal performance.

Today confirmed 82.3 82.6 was indeed the node. 5 shots, 3 minutes in between cool downs shot 3038, 3037, 3044, 3040 and 3039. SD of 2.7. I've shot the 215's with another powder so I kinda knew where the length was going to be at.

3 Shots @ 100
2.770" .34" same vertical
2.775" .28" one hole clover
2.780" .41" vertical dispersion
2.785" .80" diagonal

Loaded 5 more to confirm the 2.775" cbto at 300 yards was 1.8 moa low with a .96" group 5 shots.

All in all I'm very happy with this rifle. it was 6 lbs 8 oz.

This is one of few that I did not build. The credit to this one goes to Alamo Precision Rifles. It's pretty much spot on with the other 3 I have of theirs. Went into their shop 3 weeks ago and saw it was one of their Ready to ship rifles and fell in love with it. I should not have ever picked it up. But anyways I did. Glad I did lol.

Hey man Robert and those guys make some hammers! I have one of their 30 Noslers I had them build for me. For some reason I have a shorter throat than you and another guy with one of their 30 Nos rifles. I just did some pressure testing and am getting a nice node at 2870 but started seeing pressure at 2910ish with the 215s. Im going to explore this node because its too wide to ignore it (3fps difference over .6 of powder charges). Im at a CBTO of 2.710 @ .020 off the lands.

wow yours is quite a bit shorter.

This is the other one I was looking at. Pretty much identical.

That's the rifle I have but with a couple minor tweaks.

Im a grower not a show-er haha!

But yeah its short
I have worked up loads 5 30 noslers and all my findings were with 26" barrels there were nodes at 3050 range and just over the 3100 range. This rifle has a 24" barrel and I expected to hit the node just short of 3050. Puzzled on you hitting pressure that soon. I didn't see any signs of pressure until 84.0 grains.

That's awesome! I am waiting on a 30 Nolser from APR that should be done anyday now. I also plan on running Berger 215's and H1000! I appreciate you sharing your results so I will have a rough idea on what to expect!

Glad to see it is a shooter!
