Well, I "pulled the trigger" and just ordered my first NightForce scope! Ended up with a 5.5-22 with ZS and the MOAR recticle. Before this the most expensive scope I have ever purchased was a Nikon Monarch 5-20 (around $550). Hope the extra $$$$ I paid ends up being worth it 
I CANNOT say enough about Bob Beck from Extreme Outer Limits! That man personally took care of me. I ABSOLUTELY 100% will deal with him with my future purchases. Good customer service is hard to come by these days and this man does it right!
