Florida goes until 26th. I thought AL was a little weird this year? Ending on a Friday? I went out the last weekend but couldn't make it back up again. My lease up there was a huge flop this year. I'll give it a try for turkey but I'm not holding my breath.

I was sitting in the deer stand this morning and there were 3-4 just south east of me just hammering down. Didn't shoot a deer but I could sit and listen to that thunder all day!
Wow, I thought Alabama had a late ending season. Ours went out on Feb 10

I've heard that from several people that hunt in south Alabama. Family member has lease in Tallapossa County and never laid eyes on a deer the whole month of December. They killed two bucks in late January and early February. Normally they kill several bucks and six or eight does. Strange season.

Too much snow still here in CO where I normally hunt turkey--- but we still have at least a month before the season even opens-- so you never know what the weather will do .....I've never had much luck if there was more than just patches of snow on the ground

My daughter got one monday. Was a little farther than I thought at 47yds, but this is longrange hunting forum, lol. Just glad to get her first bird. I wouldn't suggest 47yds with a 410 though, at least not a fixed full choke, we got lucky. Jebs or others would be better I'm sure, I just wanted a wider pattern to add some forgiveness.
