Is this acceptable?

No intent to be a Karen...honestly not sure if this is an issue or fairly standard. Seeking opinions. Bought new from a reputable gunsmith/company, just got delivered today...is this acceptable or would you return it? Pretty decent drop/ding.

Would this be a non-issue after it's chambered and spun on?

That should not be an issue. It will be turned away so it can be threaded for the action. The gunsmith doing the chambering may even cut an amount off of the shank end before threading and chambering.

Would have been nice if they'd packed it a little better (the last 3 blanks I ordered, 1 from Altus and 2 from Bugholes) took probably 15-20minutes to get into they were packed so well), but most barrel manufacturers instruct you to cut off the .25-.5 from each end of the blank before chambering/threading anyways so that part wont even be used. Annoying but GTG

Both ends of the barrel will be faced off prior to threading, won't hurt a thing.
