Is powder touch sensitive?

My supertrickler is accurate to a kernel of gunpowder. To save time, when there is an overthrow (usually very small) I'll reach in the cup carefully and take out one kernel, reweigh the powder and if perfect, use the load.
My finger will touch other kernels of course.
My SD's and ES's are pretty good. Am I contaminating the kernels I touch, or is it irrelevant?
Any thoughts?

I will do this sometimes, but just use a pair of tweezers…

Only if you just changed the oil in your truck……and didn't wash your hands.

That may have been a bit of an exaggeration…..but, not by much.
The effect that the minuscule amount of oil from your skin would be immeasurable! memtb

Same here, but I use tweezers. My fingers are too fat and calloused to grab a single kernel.

I do that all the time too. Love my supertrickler

I do that whenever there is an over-throw. Clean, dry fingers aren't going to affect a few kernels of graphited powder.

I set my ST for .02gr under target weight, with a .02+/- variable (depending on powder, half a grain variable +/-). So, I also keep a few kernels on the bench for that .04 underthrow...
