Indiana and Kentucky Public Land Hunting

This question is for anyone who hunts in Kentucky and Indiana. I was on Kentucky DNR web site and it appears that the area's available for public land hunting in Northern Kentucky do not allow rifle hunting.

Does Kentucky and Indiana allow for rifle hunting on public land, or should I just buy a crossbow for hunting?

Probably a bit late for a response but in Kentucky most of those public land places are draw only for rifle hunting.
Indiana gun hunting public lands is allowed.
