Tailback and linebacker. Loved it! Nothing like knocking the spots of of somebody. Legally. And having someone cheer for you when you did. Playing tailback I got the opportunity to do that every time I got the ball. Linebacker was fun too. Of course I got my spots knocked off a time or two also. Whoever doesn't think shock can incapacitate has never been hit in the ear hole by a pulling guard you never even saw. Or helmet on helmet with some crack smoking 5'10" DB running a sub 4.5 40 that has no other present thought than knocking your Cracker As$ back to Dixieland. But 5'10" 225 carrying the ball has thoughts about that DB too. The white light and noise can be tremendous.
 
Awesome. A few times on kickoffs I ran from opposite side of field on that "pursuit angle" and hit head first instead of shoulder and knocked myself cocoo. Only way I knew which way to go was from coaches voice yelling way to go Don ! Lol. My favorite position was monster man. I played behind linebackers. I could see every play happening and be in on or get every tackle.
I was only 6'2" 185 lbs. From 9th thru 12th grade but I could run .

I derail sometimes. I'm sure I'm on a few lists. I'm old enough to not give a chit. If it gets people talking to each other then fine by me. When threads I start go off topic I enjoy the conservation. No big deal to me. It's all good. Life is short.
