Huskemaw 3-12

I have always wanted to get set up to shoot a little farther out but have been dragging my feet. Well with wolf seasons in MT and drawing a rifle bull tag figured its a good time to do so. I have a Sako A7 tecomate 270 wsm and am wondering if the Haskemaw 3-12 power will be enough power to effectively shoot in the 6-7 hundred range? I have a 1000$ limit on a scope, and see that scope is as much as i can spend. I have shot my buddys Haskemaw and loved how it works. Just cant afford the bigger scope. I am open to sugestions on other scopes. Thanks Larry
