those are wind hold offs, its actually a pretty cool setup. for example my 243 ai the wind drift at 10 mph is half the yardage. so 2 moa at 400 3moa at 600, 4moa at 400 8 at 800 etc. This scope line gets bashed alot. mainly by the tactical community who think they know everything about shooting. if its not FFP with some fancy reticle that can't even be seen at powers less than 10x in a hunting environment. its a terrible scope. IMO and this is a comment that will make alot of people made. This scope makes WAY more sense than the LRHS bushnell that was dreamed up by the wizards of tactical.
