How is this mesured? Is is from the center of the bore to the center of the scope or???
Yes. Easiest method is to measure distance of space from bottom of scope to top of barrel and then add 1/2 scope diameter and 1/2 barrel diameter.
On a 700, I open the bolt until the back of the shroud is under the scope than measure from center to center.
One the M700 the is a vent hole on the side of the action. I measure from there to the center of the windage adjustment on the scope. Works fine on LH actions, but I wonder if the vent hole on M700 RH actions is on the opposite side...?
