A friend sent me this video and I thought I would share it with the membership.
Remington use to build fine weapons and the custom shop was full of master gunsmiths and it showed in the quality. things have changed in the fire are industry and even though the machines that use to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars now cost million's the craftsmanship seems to have all but disappeared with all of the manufactures and bottom line is all that counts any more.
Fortunately we are lucky to have gunsmiths on this site that are true craftsman and gunsmiths and the quality is still available.
This video was made back in the 60's and is a good example of how they use to be made.
