Using heavy hitters like the .375 & .408 Cheytac or even.460 Styer, how does mild steel plate hold up?
I'm looking at using some 4mm (1/8") steel for targets.
If I have to use thicker, it's better to go with Hardox which I know stands up to the impacts and the cost/weight factor becomes moot.
Since I want these targets to be very big because the terrain doesn't show misses very well I need to have as big a plate as possible. At 2 miles I've got 3.2x3 meter and I want to tryto stay around the 1 MIL/3 MOA size so that we can spot misses.
