How do you Make a Fiberglass Stock Darker?

Hello Fellas,

I have a tan with black leaf pattern, Brown Precision fiberglass stock on my favorite rifle.

The stock is beautifully done BUT I wish that it was a few shades darker....more of a earth brown color.

I was wondering if any of you think that it is possible to use some type of outdoor fiberglass stain to darken it to my liking or do you have any other suggestion for me.
Can it be done without starting all over and spray painting it?

Here isa thought,the color is usually built in,but in my building trade we use fiberglass doors and the painters use a gel stain on them.I would inquire at a pro paint shop about this.
