Hey y'all, been lurking and reading for a while and decided it was time for a post. Im just curious if anyone could point me in the right direction for making a fiberglass stock. I think I've got a general idea but id like to have a better understanding before I dive in. Im talking from ground up, not just copying an existing stock. My thoughts are design on paper, then make a wood model, use that to make a mold...ect I understand that the butt sections of most are filled with a foam, but what kind? What about the forearm area? Also how would I attach the two halves together? Just ideas here, I enjoy making things myself and I understand this could be time consuming but like I said this is just a thought as of now.
