Getting close to home, our Houston-based kids are planning on leaving tonight, going up to Dallas to wait out the storm. Prayers for you folks in the SE Texas region - sure hope you are all OK. 98 degrees today in Houston, we are looking at frost up here...

I'm in Houston, and I'll be riding it out. Can't get out on the highways, and there is NO GAS within 50-60 miles. To drive 60 miles is running on average 12-14 hours. A friend just made it a town 120 miles away from her home in Houston. She left a 10 PM last night, 21 hours later she got there. It is not a good time to be out on the roads.
