Are you looking for the "big eyes" type of glass? If so, check out Bruce Baer at Baer custom rifles. I got a chance to look through a pair of this type of glass at the IBS 1K Nationals in Ohio. I don't even know if they were his, or even made by him....but they truly are AWSOME!!!

Good Luck

well i am looking for a decent pair of binos for looking for deer at long distances and those above names i have considered.??

I don't know of anyone making binos with objective lenses that big. But, like I have said before......I dont get out much. The "big eye" type are simply two spotting scopes mated together. Although, I suspect it isn't "simple".

I have only looked through a couple pair if high power binocs; one made by Zeiss (I don't recall the objective size), and were a fixed 20x with the lenses that are suspended by spinning them in oil. (You can hold them up like a normal pair of glasses and they don't shake). The other pair was made by Vixen, and were made for looking at stars. They had a 125 mm objective, were VERY clear, and of course were about $4k. I guess you get what you pay for.

yes what you are looking for are classed as astronomy binos i tryed the barska gladiator 25-125 x 80mm they are imposible with out a tri pod and very hard to get foucused clear and any little bump puts them out of foucse they are $180 my sugestion don't buy cheap like i did never agen
