Spinning off the 200gr 6.5 thread that resulted in a 124gr hammer Hunter 6.5 reaching the near 4k

What's the heaviest bullet and caliber to reach 4K FPS?

My 338 EDGE will send a 180gr Barnes TTSX with a compressed load 106gr of RL17 to 4000fps.
That is the most I have ever been able to get the 160gr TTSX I can get 4250fps.
This is with a 11.75 twist 34" barrel non mag primers, that rifles pet name is the Musket.LOL

The GAU 80 (Out of the A-10 Warthog) sends 8 lb depleted uranium 30mm rounds at 4400fps... at a rate of 70 rounds per second! 😉
Got ya beat lol

Not what the OP is likely looking for but soo much more badass.

M829-A4 APFSDS-T munition 5100-5400 fps 120mm
100mm TA tip on a 700mm DUP low carbon + titanium main rod penetrator CF fins, ADL BiDi-Coms, 18lbs SCDB propellant 49lb cartridge of the M256 120mm main gun mounted on the M1A1/2 Defeats all current battlefield ERA/APS armor 4000M effective range

Then you have the slightly slower but likely most advanced tank munition

AMP XM1147 HEMP-T 4900fps 3000m range around 46lbs 120mm
Hopefully soon to have standard M designation in 2022. Hope to be at Yuma to see the latest testing & demo as they got rescheduled to later this year thanks to covid paranoia.

Very cool munition anti-material/personnel/bunk/air asset features, proximity/airburst det that can be used against both personnel and low alt air assets such as helos. Has DRCW bunk/building breaching ability. Its even compatible with all the NATO smooth bore 120s such as the L44/L55 as well as the guns mounted on the Israeli's Merkava III/IV tanks (which themselves have very inovative design choices vs traditional tanks.)

Sorry nothing but promo videos from the AUSA show so no cool stuff being blown up.
