Heartland Shooting Center Competition

Last shoot of the year Oct 20.
The shooting center is located directly North of Alda, NE.

4 targets at 600 yds 5 shots each, unlimited sighters.
3 targets at 200 yds 5 shots each, unlimited sighters.
Targets measured for group and score.
entry fee is $10
any gun under 17#
Registration 8:30 to 9:00

Sounds like fun. Unfortunately can't make it this weekend. Wouldn't mind shooting there when I am down that way sometime. Open to the public/year round, is the longest distance the 600,what type of benches, etc.?

I don't think they are open at regularly scheduled times, the range is still in it's infancy and there some things to be worked out yet I believe.
600 yds is the longest much to many in the areas dismay.
They have concrete benches but the stools leave a little to be desired.
Everyone there is always very easy going, so far no old stick in the mud type people.
Hopefully sometime in the future they will start having IBS registered matches, that is the plan anyway.
