I was adjusting my sizing die for the headspace for my .300 PRC. I ran all 100 cases through my die, after I thought I had my die set to push the shoulder back about .002". When I was putting my Hornady Headspace comparator back in it's drawer, noticed I used the .400 comparator instead of the .420. I use the .400 for my .308 win. These case's were just fire formed. Will they be alright to go ahead a start load development or should re-fire form them?

Thank you
Jason

What's the difference between to two when you measure them with both?
Thank you for responding

With the .400 comparator, the measurement was 2.212" before and 2.210" after. Just for laughs after I saw that I had the wrong comparator, it measured 2.196".

Your fine, you just didn't measure at the datum but for your application you just need to know anywhere on the shoulder how much set back there is.
I thought I would be OK. I'll just recheck them after I fire the case's again. And adjust if needed.

Thank you bigngreen
