High dollar but I could replace some high end binoculars and have good glasses and range finder in one.

Ya, used the 8x32's on a week long elk hunt in CO. They were outstanding. seemed to be quick, easy, and accurate.
The optic side....very clear, not sure what else to expect from leica though..

a little on the heavy side, but you still get rid of two units. I like the idea of both in one. they are on the spendy side, but I sure like em...it's up to you, they are a good unit....
 
I have a pair of Swarvoski 10x42 SLC that I would sell before I got these but am thinking pretty hard on these.

Would/Should be a lifetime investment.
