Has anyone tried 270 grain EldX out of 338 Edge

Just curious if anyone has tried 270 grain ELDX out of a 338 Edge? We are playing with it with N570 and they are shooting pretty good. Going to push up to see where my pressure point and highest accuracy node is. Just a photo of a load that we just threw together for first try.

No experience with the 270 gr but lots of shots fired with the 300 gr bergers .
H-1000 , 300 gr berger at 2884 ft.per.sec in a 30" barrel !
Shot Amazing out to 3027 yards !
My personal best ...3 shots in a 26 3/4" group at 3027 yards .
I'm going to extend the throat and now I have several different powders to try . Looking for something in the mid 2900 ft.per.sec!!

Lawton 7500 action , McGowen 30" barrel and this Mdt chassis. It's new to me . I'm typically a stock guy but had to try this out .
Topped with a 20 min base , 200 min. Adj Valdada base. Vortex Razor gen 1 and two sets of Rings .

Ok. Thanks for sharing. My son was curious about the 270 grain eldx and he is running them at 2943 out of a 28" proof barrel. He is playing with them presently. With N570 powder. He was running CEB lazers 275 grain and they shoot awesome but has to feed as a single shot and is trying to get something shorter in length for a magazine. The CEB are running 3009fps.

Maybe the 250gr bergers?
All my 338 Edges I had (7) were single feed . I used the heavy ones for my ELR and the proof Edge for hunting .
Let us know what he comes up with .

I've had good results with the 285gr ELDs and RL-33. Getting 2900fps from a 28" bartlein.

How stable is reloader 33? He will be using this from the high country to hunting to 2000 ft elevation. What is your overall length with the 285 eldm?

I told him that I would have stuck with the CEB due to how they shot. But he doesn't want to single feed.

I think his CEB Bullets overall length is either 4.138" or 4.238".
