Air passing over the rings, similar to jets breaking the sound barrier? The rounded edges of the rings, parabolic (?), works like an air foil maybe. Other bullets like Barnes TSX have square edge rings. Just guessing.

The original vid mistakenly tagged it as a 6.5 PRC. The uploader since was informed it was in fact a 6.5 RPM instead, so they removed the original vid out of respect and reposted the corrected version in Post #25. Just click back a page.
