Rifle in question: 6.5 Sherman Max with a 7.5tw 5R 24"
You guys with experience with AH & HH's, can you tell me what I can expect for a velocity differential between the 129 AH and the 131 HH for this cartridge? The AH's have a lower BC, but if the velocity gain overcomes or surpasses any HH advantage in BC's, then it seems the way to go.
How finicky are they to get to shoot good? Any recommended powder and weight to start from? Maybe the data is on here somewhere and I just don't know where to look.

Check @GLTaylor and his compilation of data. I believe he personally has one also.

I have tried both the 129 AH and 131 HH in my 26" & 20" 6.5SSs.
131s over RL23 @ 3234 (26") or 3130 (20")
129s over H4350 @ 3385 (26") or 3230 (20")

These are max loads, and not where I am running them.

They both shoot EXTREMELY accurately, as have every Hammer load I have worked up, regardless of weight or caliber.

Thanks. I really appreciate that data. Gives me a base to work from.
