Hammer + Elk Shoulder

It's a carbon six barrel, just the lighting. About 30 minutes before sunset. Yeah definitely a bummer to lose some roast, but I was still able to recover most of it...probably only lost 3 to 5 lbs...
If you measure in thousandths of an inch, I think I saw a piece of meat in the upper left quadrant that could be salvaged.

We took a cow Elk with the 6.5PRC this fall sending a 124 Hammer out the pipe at 3150. The distance was only 70 yards but that bullet completely shredded the heart. Found one pedal on the opposite hide. Impact velocity was around 3025. Never seen a bullet do that kind of damage.
