Hammer Bullets, in our quest to continue making our products better, we chose to change the material we have been using for the Hammer HHT small tip line of bullets. Shortly after making the change we discovered that the new material, while superior in impact testing, was susceptible to breakage in the magazine under recoil. The only Hammer HHT small tip bullets affected by this were sold from Oct 3rd 2025 to Oct 17th 2025. This may or may not effect your bullets depending on rifle recoil and the rifle magazine. If you would like us to replace your tips, please reply to this email, with your order number, and we will be happy to replace your bullet tips.
This new replacement material does everything that we, at Hammer Bullets, want for terminal and ballistic performance. In the short time that we had to find this new, better material, we were unable to get the Hammer Blue color. Until the colorant is ready for the new material, they will be sent out without color, in an opaque white.
