I read your post regarding lengthening the magazine in a Model 70 300 Win mag. I like the concept and would like to try it myself. Do you re-spotweld the magizine at the back where you take the spacer out? and where do you get the 300 Weatherby spring and follower? are they neccessary to get reliable feeding? How much do you trim the bolt stop, just enough to allow the bolt to reach the back of the "new" magazine? thanks-Duff
