The only firearm I would feel comfortable around big bears is:
Too long, too heavy, for the jungles where the end of your barrel is as far as one can see. Of course Its probably in a shoulder holster for you. ;)

a ranch hand had a video of two wolves north of two dot ranch tag teaming a grizzly over his kill. they wore the grizzly out and then dined on his kill.I saw two there in the 3 days we were there. Saw one in Crandall that crossed the forestry road I was on and climbed over the buck and rail fence Into a pasture with horses and mules. They went after him and the bear kicked it into overdrive. Lol. I dont know when it was you were there but there are way too many griz in North and South Fork also. In 2023 I had one that was on the carcass of a buck shot the week before burying it. Watched him for half an hour he ended up walking right below me. He stopped below the creek and lifted his leg and peed. Got a drink and walk up right below me and looked right5 up towards me and buddy. I was videoing. I set phone down and picked up pistol with right hand and bear spray in left. He turned and walked on down the trail. I ranged where he stood. 22 yards.
Why Not? Easyer than walking.I'll bet you're one of the only people that I know that hunts from a Harley!![]()

Husky's and Maico's …….man we are cut from the same cloth! While I never owned either, I was a big fan of the Maico moto x bikes back in the '70's!…. and lost a Hair Scramble and a local "Grass Track" race to a Husky!I've never owned a Harley. Have owned 4 Husqvarna's and 3 Maico's though![]()
I raced both. 500cc class's. Last one I had was 1986 500. I loved it. Had a 1985 and a 1982 also. All 500's had a 1981 Husky CR430 that I also loved .Husky's and Maico's …….man we are cut from the same cloth! I don't know how many acres the two dot has but it's huge. They own from the national forest boundary on Chief Joesef hwy south and north all the way to hwy 120 . I heard some Texan's owned it.a ranch hand had a video of two wolves north of two dot ranch tag teaming a grizzly over his kill. they wore the grizzly out and then dined on his kill.
He keeps raising the bar for stupidity. I followed a bit, thought he might get better after blowing himself up. One of his reels popped up yesterday, he shot some guy with like a golf ball gun. Turning into Jackass chasing ratings.I wonder if a muzzle brake would help with recoil on the 4 bore ?
Looks like a big Ruger #1. He might have said. I had to watch with sound off.

Yes middle eastern fellow from Texas. Once we purchased tresspass privileges to hunt on his property for cow elk but we were not allowed to hunt until he took his bull. Well we watched a herd of about 100 elk for days but were not allowed to give chase. Finally he took his bull, but the herd we were watching had moved on.I don't know how many acres the two dot has but it's huge.
