Give me some more to work with. What it the rifle going to look like? Do you want to keep it tactical and have the recoil reduced? Or you dont care? Also what the thread pattern on your barrel?
The barrel is 18 inches long and has 9/16-24RH threads. I just want something to reduce the recoil so that the target stays within the sight picture when the rifle goes bang.
I've put Jim See's CSR brake on a 6.5 Grendel AR and it worked very well. It was a 24" heavy barrel though, but you could see the shots hit the paper with it.
