gn top enigine cleaner for getting the carbon out of rifle barrel . I called the gm dealer they have to carbon cleaner does anybody know the one i nead ? Thanks for your info. Joe

I assume you mean they have two different ones? If that is the case both of them work. I use the foam and my friend uses the liquid.

The part # for the liquid is 1 #1050002. I've mixed it with Kroil for many years.

I know it works good on engines, never thought of using it on firearms, good tip.

I've been using good (and cheap) non-chlorinated brake cleaner for years. Got into that with my jackknife Ruger target pistols. I just dunk 'em now (sans grips of course).

Brake cleaner and plastic don't get along very well......
