Try to keep the Sun to Your back or to the right or left when Hunting?I Hunted my favorite stand one evening and called in a Coyote...dang Sun was going down and I was facing it,when I raised my Rifle I know the Coyote saw the reflection and cut to the right 150-200 yards away and hauled butt out of the field!

I usually wear a Camo Bandana on my head and a neck gator I can pull up over the top of my nose to have everything covered up but my eyes and I'm in Camo Clothes and even Camo gloves to hide any exposed skin...You'd be surprised at how much Your skin will shine and reflect sunlight.

My Gun is usually Camo or Dull finish with a low,shine matte-black scope....I don't like Rifles with high-class Shiney finishes especially if I'm Predator/Coyote Hunting.Some Hunters even wrapped their stocks and,barrels,with the dull Camo wraps.

As Red Dawg mentioned....I have used the see thru mesh head covering in the warmer months when Coyote Hunting and I even have a Camo mesh head cover on my FoxPro Shockwave Caller to conceal it when using it.

What GTO said.... if you are silhouetted.... it makes your life a lot easier... especially if you are saddled infront of some other cover. A lot of guys want to hide behind cover... but it's actually better to get down low infront of it, if you are wearing camo.

I've heard that some use thin dark pantyhose around the front bell and optic... but have never given it a go.
 
morning, this sounds crazy, in the old days the scouts, used to make sunshades

out of leather. now this sounds crazy, make ur shades out thin plastic pipe or

plastic milk jugs. this keeps the sun away from glass lens. rifle scopes have shades

barrels can b bead blasted. this one we have to think. lightbulb
 
I do my best setting up. However, when they cut the wind and you turn your position 90 degrees the jig is up. Never thought about panty hose. Why wouldn't that work for rifle camo? Will have to check it out. Please keep them coming. I appreciate your help.
 
morning, US Optics sells covers for bino's, to mask the glare of glass.

I went to covers for binoculars, and several sites came up.lightbulb
 
Geo , do u hunt alone? or with a buddy? IF u hunt with a buddy put ur back to a tree and have ur buddy face the other direction and cover all ur watching ,and start killin! panty hose face camo net , or even a sun shade on ur scope will work. Start now the season is about over , they are paired up and not as responsive as they were two weeks ago
 
Thanks to all. It is the pits having to wear glasses. I will try Panty hose and see through netting. I do hunt alone half the time. I am on a mission. I had a pair come out of the wooded lot next to me. They would have taken my wife's Yorkie with me standing only 30 feet away. When I started yelling they cut out. I am waiting until they have pups. I thought I would try pup distress. what do ya'll think? Close quarter calling.
 
I too wear glasses, and is for the calling close to the house? lock up the yorkie and go for itl
 
I have a neighbor that is about 2 miles , as the crow flies, lost 2 jack russells in her yard 25yds by 50yds , an eldery lady saw them in her yard at 10 am killing her dogs, 2014 a good year for me at this ranch, 13 yotes that year , 9 so far this year, same farm
