Long range gun, short range coyote

Only have one spot i can use this gun safely, been trying for years to get a coyote with it.
It finally happened this year.
was hoping for 2-300 yd shot, ended up being about 30 yards.

Yes 50 bmg, pretty simple .50" hole in and out.

I shot one with a .300 win with the 225 eldm. It just went straight through as expected, actually ran about 100 yards.

Wasn't coyote hunting, but saw one creeping around in an adjacent cattle yard and did the right thing haha.

Nice photo with the sunset in the background. Guess you dont have to worry about bullet splash with that cartridge, except maybe well beyond the target.
