After a year getting only painted at a world famous gun maker, who I will not name, one of my favorites is back and in the wrong stock.
Long story short, if you know a business is an absolute train wreck, don't do business with them. The stock this rifle is supposed to be in will be installed and bedded after deer season. There's no point of me damaging a perfectly good stock when I have this one which I had no intention of using to begin with. The rifle itself was built by Geronimo Gunworks here in South Carolina, not who painted it. The group of 3 @ 100yards is indicative of what this rifle does and why I wanted it back so badly.
Season is now 3 months in and my go to is finally back.

The lesson here is that 'world famous' gunmakers are not necessarily chosen for their painting skills. Find a top quality rifle painter and use them.;)

It's a world of specialization!

Nice target!

:)

That rifle is DEAD SEXY. And it shoots maybe better than it looks. But, I understand the frustration. Agree on a service, buy that service, and it is not done right or on time. Makes a guy wonder doesn't it?
