Curious if anyone has had the same problem with the belt slipping on the area 419 auto trickler. It's slipping on the plastic. Just changed the belt and thought all was better but back to the same crap
mine slipped after it got old. I ordered a replacement and a couple spares from MacDonald. Be sure you clean the drive wheel with a q-tip soaked in alcohol. Also clean the trickle tube and bushings it spins on. powder residue can gum it up increasing the friction.
Powder is coated with graphite, which is a great dry lubricant. Clean all the parts really well with a carbon solvent and it should start working properly again.
