First OCW test

First time I tried this test, I think I like it better than the ladder test. This is 300 win mag nosler accubond 180g with imr4831 powder. I think 72 grains might be it. First (number 4) is 69.7. Amazed by last two right off the paper, they are well over max but not too many pressure signs at 30 degrees f

Yeah, it does look like around 72 is doing well. What distance were you shooting?

When I do this sort of test I look for bullet impacts between powder charge groups that are close to each other. On your targets that looks like 71.1 - 72.5. Try making some more test loads with 0.3 grain steps.
